Our rescued
rabbits are taken into foster homes where they adapt to
living and socializing with humans.
All of our rabbits are litter-trained, and neutered or
spayed.
NJ House
Rabbit Society screens all potential adopters carefully.
An adoption application and adoption contract are
required. Note:
NJHRS
will not adopt any of our rabbits to families who plan on
keeping the rabbit outdoors.
|
Our
Adoption Fees are as follows: |
$85 fee for single rabbits |
$170 fee
donation for pairs |
|
|
We ask an
adoption donation to enable us to rescue more rabbits
and provide them with the care they deserve. Neuter
surgeries
can cost up to $200+ at a qualified veterinarians'
office, while spays can be up to $400+!
Since the litter-training, socialization, and neuter or
spay surgery is done while the rabbits are in our foster
care, it is not the responsibility of the adopter.
NJ House
Rabbit Society will stay in touch with all
adoptive families to offer education and support.
If you are
interested in giving one or more
of our foster rabbits a loving home,
please fill out our
Preliminary
Adoption Application. If you have any questions,
please
contact us.
